Bosom Buddies Breast Cancer Support Group

You Will Never Be Alone

Jo Buckland Founder/Chair

Where it Began

Bosom Buddies Breast Cancer Support was founded by Jo Buckland back in 2017 after her own breast cancer journey had begun in 2016. When Jo was diagnosed she discovered that there was little support for the ladies of the Wyre Forest, so wanting to give something back she set about working her magic and created our group.

Jo has worked hard over the years to create both our online  and local communities and, in doing so has helped ladies from all over the UK bond, create friendships and offer unconditional support to one another.

Now that restrictions have lifted somewhat we are happy to able to continue with our weekly coffee mornings.

Our usual location of Gil's is currently under refurbishment after being flooded during the winter 2020 floods, so, for now you will find us each Monday at Cookley Village Hall and Sports Club.
To find out more about our meetings pop on over to our events page.

Supporting one another through our Breast Cancer journeys, we have learnt that no two cancers or treatments are the same.

We are united by, but not defined by Breast Cancer.

If you, or a loved one has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer, no matter how long ago, here at Bosom Buddies we are here to offer any support we can.
